If you’re a Jordan head who especially has a thing for Black and Red colorways, 2019 looks very promising. Next to the Black Infrared 6s, Nike also brings back the Air Jordan 4 Bred this year.

Originally released in 1989, the follow-up to the Air Jordan 3 was Tinker Hatfield’s second design for the sub-brand. Today the shoe enjoys equal acclaim like its predecessor and rank among the most popular Air Jordans. In terms of memorable in-game moments, Michael Jordan wore the Bred colorway when he made “The Shot” against the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 5 of the 1989 Eastern Conference First Round.
Similar to the Black Infrared 6, the Bred 4s now returns to the shelves in an all-original outfit. The black nubuck upper, sits on a part Cement Grey, part Summit White midsole. Cement Grey accents grace the lining and eyelets, while Fire Red contrasts appear on the outsole and tongue lining. As the cherry on top, the OG “Nike Air” branding on the heels replaces the Jumpman logo of recent retro releases.
